The past 6 months I have been trying my hand at some stippling portraits (black ink dots . . . see attached  example below). I wondered how watercolors would translate in Pointillism so I gave that a try. I like the color transition on the beak of the larger bird; but I lost control of the rest of the painting especially the background foliage.

                I like both of them.

Extremely good Tim- both of them. But it would drive me dotty trying to concentrate so long!

I think the man is possibly the more effective. Maybe the toucan background is a little overpowering?

Anyway, well done. You have an ability for detail I don’t possess.

Very effective, but you have the patience of a saint!

Something different from what I used to see. Those are two beautiful paintings.

Wow Tim — fabulous (and painstaking) work!  It’s fun to try new things!  And I like your title.  :D

Pointilism!  Now that takes a lot of time and concentration.  Well done!

After a day’s work, I want to distract myself and relax. For several weeks now, every night I play the online game https://dordlegame.org/. The rules of the game are simple, if you have played Wordle, it will be easier for you to understand the game. You can find all the detailed information on the site.
